Hot and Sour Soup

Ingredients

  • 4 cups water
  • ½ lb. LEASA tofu, slivered
  • 2 cups thinly sliced cabbage
  • 2 vegetable bouillon cubes
  • ¾ tsp. salt
  • 1 tbsp. soy sauce
  • 2 tbsp. white vinegar
  • ¼ tsp. cayenne
  • 3 tbsp. water
  • 2 tbsp. cornstarch

Instructions

Step 1:
Bring 4 cups of water to boil, Add LEASA tofu, cabbage, vegetable bouillon cubes, salt and soy sauce. 

Step 2:
Simmer together for 3 minutes.

Step 3:
Add white vinegar and cayenne. 

Step 4:
Bring back to boil.

Step 5:
Dissolve 3 tbsp. water with 2 tbsp. cornstarch. 

Step 6:
Stir the dissolved mixture into the soup.

Step 7:
Serve garnished with chopped onions and 2 tbsp. Chinese sesame seed oil. (Optional)
